Cinnamon Ruth Leggett is a life long student of music with a powerful yet intimate alto voice ranging from E2-C6. Her training includes Dillard School of the Arts, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Duke University’s school of Music Music, Durham , NC and Private tutor Greg Wells, Raleigh, NC. Her influences are her parents, Latin Percussionist, Louis Ramos and Singer, Ruth Ayala Carmona, Israel Houghton, Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, and Celine Dion. Cinnamon continues to study, learn, and apply enhanced applications of music to grow her artistry in music. She writes original songs, charts songs, arranges, records and performs. Her goal is to see music grow in her life and the lives of others through singing, writing and performance.
Cinnamon Ruth Leggett has a deep love for teaching. She opened CRL Studios in 2010 as a way for students to learn the art and fundamentals of music to enhance performance and leisure hobbies. She believes a strong foundation in theory and performance is a way to build confidence in music. Students that study voice and piano with Cinnamon also focus on performance techniques such as courage, bravery, tenacity, and strength. Through the use of technology students benefit from the flexibility in class setting allowing students to thrive at their own pace via online classes and in person classes. Lessons are held weekly in 6 week sessions and kept affordable for the benefit of the growing student. Students are encouraged to love music, live music and explore the future of the artistry of music in their own lives.
Cinnamon Ruth Leggett is a singer, songwriter, pianist, arranger and producer who has engaged audiences for over 25 years in Concerts, Churches, Conferences, Off Broadway performances and Special Engagements. With an enhanced focus on leading Worship, she embraces the sounds of Classical, Jazz, Gospel, Christian Contemporary, Latin and Pop. Her portfolio has over 40 written songs including “ ’On this Mountain’, ‘Search Me’, ‘Joy to the World Heaven and Earth’, ‘Let it be with Me’, and ‘Long Way from Home’ ”. Cinnamon is a creative singer and performer and connects with audiences through shared experiences and common stories expressed through song. She is authentic and honest and this is what transcends though all of her creative work.
Cinnamon Ruth Leggett is the founder of Worship Inc., an organization committed to sustainability in the face of disaster. Worship Puerto Rico, a subset of Worship Inc., was founded in 2017 after Hurricane Maria devastated the island of Puerto Rico leaving it and its people in great need of help and hope. Today our focus has evolved beyond just recovery to include preparedness in hopes to create sustainability in the face of many types of disasters including natural, social, economical, medical and spiritual. Numerous relationships have been created, restoration of the home of Loiza resident Angie Ponce has been accomplished and, a network of support throughout various communities and organizations in Puerto Rico have been established. Sustainability is an opportunity to give to our future, is vital in overcoming obstacles and I something we all can accomplish with what we currently have in our hands.

Cinnamon Ruth Leggett Studios, also known as CRL Studios, is a music school where students learn the art of music with a strong foundation in theory and performance. Students can study voice and piano and while under the strong patient coaching of Cinnamon Ruth Leggett and learn to be courageous, brave, strong and tenacious. Through the use of technology and her acoustic Yamaha Baby Grand silent piano, students gain the ear training necessary for music growth and are able to thrive at their own pace. As a lifelong student of music, Cinnamon Ruth Leggett has gained an understanding of the art of music through Dillard School of the Arts, Duke University’s Music program and the many tutors along her musical journey. Beginning her love for music at a very young age with the influence of her father, a Latin percussionist, and of her mother, a singer, she continues to study, learn, and apply enhanced applications of music to grow her artistry in music. She writes original songs and charts songs for bands and vocalists. Her goal is to see all the aspects of music entrusted to her grow whether by singing, teaching or the mastery of her artistry.
